8 Reasons Why You Need to Try Ultherapy

Wondering how you can reverse the signs of aging without undergoing a facelift surgery? Many people do not feel comfortable when they notice the signs of aging such as wrinkles appearing on their faces and other areas. However, the good news is that such people can consider Ultherapy, which is a non-surgical procedure and an alternative to facelift surgery. This technology helps counteract the signs of wrinkles and skin sagging by stimulating collagen production.

Here are the 8 reasons why you need to try Ultherapy.

1. Nonsurgical Procedure

Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that helps reverse the signs of aging such as skin sagging and wrinkles on the face and other parts of the body. This treatment method uses ultrasound waves to trigger the body's regeneration of collagen. The production of collagen is often lost as a result of aging and the procedure is designed to stimulate the foundational layers of the skin to stimulate regeneration of collagen. While Ultherapy is a viable alternative to people who do not want to undergo a surgical uplift, you should know that the results are not the same.

2. Painless Process

If you want a quick and painless procedure that helps lift and tighten wrinkles and sagging in your face, neck, and chest, then Ultherapy can be your ultimate answer. Experts at MyVivaa.com explain that with this method, you will quickly observe some great improvement in age lines as well as wrinkles in your face, chest, and neck. This procedure is FDA-approved and it gives you smoother facial features that help reduce the effects of aging. A successful procedure will give you a fresh new look that significantly improves your appearance.

3. No Severe Side Effects

After the procedure, you can experience some heat sensations and tingling, but the good news is that these will subside soon. You can also experience short-term sensations that include swelling, redness, and tenderness of the skin, but they will typically disappear within a short period after the procedure. There are no proven side-effects of the procedure that can be a cause of concern for your healthcare.

4. How Long Does The Process Take?

The duration of the entire procedure depends on the target area that needs to be treated with aging signs. Face and neck treatments usually take between 30 and 90 minutes and some patients are likely to see some improvements on their skins immediately after the procedure. It usually takes between 60 and 90 days to see the full effects of the treatment, but this also depends on the collagen produced by your body. Ultherapy works by triggering an extended regeneration process that facilitates the production of new collagen by your body for a longer period. Collagen helps maintain your skin in a good state while at the same time preventing the signs of aging.

If your body quickly responds to the stimulating effects of the treatment, then you can see results quickly. The rate of aging of your body also determines the time it will take for you to see notable results. However, your initial results after the procedure can be maintained.

5. Reduced Downtime

Depending on the area where Ultherapy is performed, you may not experience severe pain that can affect you in performing your daily chores. The procedure comes with no downtime and you can continue with your work and social life as usual. All the same, you need to get some rest since some people may experience redness, swelling, or tenderness after the treatment.

6. Lasting Results

As you are now aware, the results of Ultherapy can be seen within a few days of the treatment and this depends on factors such as your body's capacity to produce collagen. The results of the procedure will last for a period that your body is still capable of producing collagen. However, natural aging can affect your skin again and you can decide if you want additional sessions of Ultherapy. However, your body will maintain your initial results of the procedure, even if you decide to undergo a second session.

7. Ultra Therapy Is Affordable

Different factors determine the cost of Ultherapy such as the sessions to be completed as well as your geographic location. Compared to other facelift procedures, Ultherapy is affordable though it comes in the range of four figures. However, you need to contact a local provider of the service so that you can get an idea about the cost of the service. The other thing that you should know is that insurance does not cover Ultherapy.

8. Ultherapy Works With Other Procedures

The other aspect is that Ultherapy can be combined with other facelift procedures that can help you get better results. No fear of complications if you combine this treatment process with other procedures that are intended to improve your aesthetic appearance.

Signs of aging such as wrinkles and sagging of different body parts such as the face, neckline, and chest can be frustrating. However, you can reverse the effects of aging using a non-invasive procedure called Ultherapy. Compared to other methods like facelift surgery, Ultherapy has many benefits and you will never go wrong if you try it. All the same, you need information about the procedure so that you can make a meaningful decision.

Help! My Friend Is a No Show

Dear Armchair Psychologist,

I have a friend who doesn't reply to my messages about meeting for dinner, etc. Although, last week I ran into her at a local restaurant of mine, it has always been awkward to be friends with her. Should I continue our friendship or discontinue it? We've been friends for a total four years and nothing has changed. I don't feel as comfortable with her as my other close friends, and I don't think I'll ever be able to reach that comfort zone in pure friendship.

Dear Sadsies,

I am sorry to hear you've been neglected by your friend. You may already have the answer to your question, since you're evaluating the non-existing bond between yourself and your friend. However, I'll gladly affirm to you that a friendship that isn't reciprocated is not a good friendship.

I have had a similar situation with a friend whom I'd grown up with but who was also consistently a very negative person, a true Debby Downer. One day, I just had enough of her criticism and vitriol. I stopped making excuses for her and dumped her. It was a great decision and I haven't looked back. With that in mind, it could be possible that something has changed in your friend's life, but it's insignificant if she isn't responding to you. It's time to dump her and spend your energy where it's appreciated. Don't dwell on this friend. History is not enough to create a lasting bond, it only means just that—you and your friend have history—so let her be history!
