Karina Costa is president of LynQ Technologies, the creator of LynQ - the world's most advanced people compass that that keeps people safe and together by locating anyone without the need for phones, networks or infrastructure of any kind. Karina has been a successful entrepreneur and leader in innovation for a decade. Her career started in 2009, when she founded Glutone, a company that created waste solutions for food retailers. Since then, she have founded and directed multiple startups in the technology industry. This includes co-founding BET Ventures, an NGO that creates a unique 24-hour competition for startups to receive funding, and later Fábrica de Startups S.A. in Lisbon, one of the earliest accelerators and investment arms for tech startups in Portugal. She then joined Techstars, headquartered in Boulder, Colorado as the global director of Startup Next, a pre-accelerator program operating in many cities worldwide. In 2017 Karina architected the Techstars Anywhere accelerator program, a mostly virtual accelerator that uses technology, the Techstars global mentor network and some travel to invest and work with companies based anywhere. Throughout her career as an entrepreneur and investor for nearly 10 years, Karina has lived in 4 different continents and worked with over 100 companies.
