Technically, my life is no different than millions of others. It's a part of the human condition to experience trauma. But somewhere along the way, we have to figure out who we really are and do some real work on ourselves.
This is my journey from being forced to wear missmatched suits in my first corporate role to bringing women everywhere clothes that will make them confident and reflect their inner-power (suit).
Growing up, every image depicted around me gave the message that most dark girls were ugly. So, when people would say, "You're pretty for a dark-skinned girl," I took it as a compliment.
