It was the beginning of 2015. We were just a group of women observing how France applied progressive maternal healthcare policies such as 10-20 sessions of pelvic floor physical therapy after birth to avoid complications and chronic health issues. Our research and early user data showed that over 70% of women experience intimate health problems such as incontinence or sexual pain at some point in their lives, and yet only a small fraction of these receive the comprehensive care and support they need.

Let's go ahead and get something out the way. What comes to mind when I ask you to conjure an image of the classic “private investigator?" If I had to guess, I'd say that you're thinking of a man, maybe in a trench coat, hiding in the bushes while peering through binoculars to spy on some sort of social deviant.

The times, they are a changin’, and even former President Obama and comedian Stephen Colbert have vocalized their opinions as to why more women should be in charge in the corporate world.

As a Vietnamese immigrant growing up in the 80s and 90s in America, I didn’t see many women running companies and definitely didn’t see any female Vietnamese immigrants leading businesses in America. But I was very fortunate enough to see a strong female, my mom, work hard to make a living and learn English, so her children could live the American dream.
