You may not know Dr. Sandra Lee—but you surely know her as “Dr. Pimple Popper"—the moniker that made her a viral superstar. She's likely the most famous dermatologist in the world thanks to her 1.5 billion views and 3 million Subscribers on YouTube, her hit TLC show This is Zit and her renowned skincare line SLMD.

In June, we're excited to celebrate the strength, grit and determination of some successful, hard-working and awe-inspiring entrepreneurs who are part of the LGBT community. Through their companies, ranging from activism and retail to agencies and law firms - they are not only building successful brands, but also using their unique stories, struggles and experiences to be activists.


Recently, all eyes have been on Ankiti Bose, India's first ever female entrepreneur to co-found a $1 billion startup. Zilingo, an e-commerce fashion and lifestyle company is on course to be of unicorn status — a startup valued at $1 billion — placing the company among only 10% of female founded unicorns.


Her Secret? "Just fake it". Beatrice Fischel-Bock wholeheartedly believes that failure isn't the end—it's just the beginning. The 26-year-old CEO and co-founder of the home decor tool Hutch (it mixes 3D technology with online shopping to let you virtually decorate your space) took the company from a college side hustle to business venture with over $17 million in funding.
